Yuri Trutnev Inspects Construction Sites at the Udokan Plant
Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev, with Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic Aleksei Chekunkov, Trans-Baikal Territory Governor Alexander Osipov, and Udokan Copper Board Chairman Valery Kazikaev in tow, has inspected the construction sites of the Udokan Mining and Metallurgical Plant, one of the largest and most ambitious projects in the Far East.

Udokan Copper Completes Installation of Ore Grinding Equipment
The sixth ore-grinding mill made by the Finnish company Outotec, a leader in sustainable minerals and metals processing and recycling technologies, has been installed in the grinding department building at the construction site of the Udokan Mining and Metallurgical Plant.

Installation of Process Equipment for the Production of Copper Concentrate Started at Udokan
Udokan Copper LLC has started the installation of equipment at the construction site of the thickening and decantation area.

Construction of the Conveyor for Ore Transporting Started at Udokan
Udokan Copper has started the installation of belt conveyors with a total length of over 2.8 kilometers, fr om the coarse crushing building to the process plant, wh ere ore is processed deeply.

EW Building Construction Started at Udokan
Udokan Copper has started the installation of vertical metal structures - columns at the future electro winning area. The EW Building is a key production facility for the metallurgical process, providing the final product, cathode with a copper content of 99.9%.

Udokan Copper starts the construction of a rail warehouse at Baikal-Amur Mainline to support product deliveries.
Udokan Copper initiated a package of preparation works at the transportation & storage facility construction site near Novaya Chara railway station of the Baikal-Amur Mainline.
